Package Description

Experience the essence of Australia with the earthy sounds of the didgeridoo. Scenic New Zealand is thrilling dances of the Māori and rolling pasture land.

Australia is an extraordinarily beautiful place, as rich in rainforest (from Far North Queensland to far-south Tasmania) as it is in remote rocky outcrops. The essence of Australia is its wildlife which is like nowhere else on the planet, a place of kangaroos and crocodiles, of wombats and wallabies, platypus, crocodiles, dingoes and so much more, it is also an epicurean’s delight.

Sublime forests, mountains, lakes, beaches, and fiords that have made Scenic New Zealand one of the best hiking (locals call it ‘tramping’) destinations on the planet.

Ideal season for the tour

Visiting northern Australia between April and August when airfares are lower and the weather is decent along the Great Barrier Reef. Travel to Australia’s southern states in the warm summer months of January and February. Of course, you’ll also have to contend with a higher concentration of tourists and vacation-goers during the summer.

December through February is the warmest and most lively time of year in New Zealand. Skiiers, in contrast, will want to opt for the June to August window. Expect to pay top dollar on everything from airfare to hotels and tours in the summer.

Visit during the autumn shoulder season of March and April to take advantage of the moderately warm climate and the relatively small number of tourist crowds.
