Built in the traditional style of architecture, the hotel has been a favorite with tourists right from the 1970s. This Traditional Stay At Leh has walls that are completely insulated with the help of UPVC double glass windows.  The hotel is also doing its bit for the environment by using solar energy to supply hot water to the bathrooms. The interiors feature furniture made from locally sourced wood.

Meals are served in the common dining area but 24-hour room service is also available. The dining room has a regular dining table as well as a traditional dining area featuring low seats and tables that have been hand painted. A lot of the ingredients used in cooking the sumptuous meals are from organic sources in the area. Cultural shows can be arranged on request and the hotel also has a power back-up ready.

  • Before 15 days of the arrival date -50 % of the total billing will be refunded
  • Before 07 days of the arrival date - No refund will be entertained

The Leh Palace is just a short walk away and the imposing structure towering over the town makes for an impressive sight. It dates back to the 16th century and houses paintings that are more than four centuries old. Stok Palace which is the present residence of the erstwhile royal family is a short drive away and is known for its annual dance-mask festival. The Shanti Stupa is a must visit and offers great views of the sunrise and sunset. The Hall of Fame is a museum that pays tribute to the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the Indo-Pak wars. It has been built by the Indian Army and has plenty of interesting displays. Tsemo Fort and Thiksey Monastery are some other places you might want to include on your itinerary.
