When you are holidaying in a jungle retreat, one of the most exciting things to do is to go on an open jeep safari and explore the depths of the jungle. Who knows, you may catch a glimpse of a wild beast or a tiger resting under a shadowy tree or crossing the road in style. If you are a shutterbug, you can indulge in some great wildlife photography during your trip to the jungle interiors.
Another interesting activity to indulge in is an elephant safari in the morning hours. It will be an incredible experience to enjoy a ride on an elephant like royalty and roam around the jungle.
During the day, you can go for long nature walks and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle. You can even spot a few wild animals and birds during such impromptu expeditions. For those of you who love to watch birds, you will be thrilled to discover various species here.
You can even go on a walk of the village in the areas surrounding the retreat. If you are interested in tribal art, you can even attend a workshop of tribal art and craft and learn a thing or two about pottery, tribal tattoo making or basket making from the talented local artists. Another fun activity will be to learn to play a few of the tribal leisure games like gobardanda, pittoo, stilt walking, and Gilli danda. While at the retreat, you can enjoy the dance performances of the Baiga Tribal people in the evenings.
