At the Glamping Stay At Leh

Wake up to the soothing sound of the Indus River at your Glamping Stay at Leh—a lifetime experience for adventure lovers.

A place on top of every adventure lover’s list is Leh. A Himalayan high-desert city that was once a halting ground for trade caravans is now a magnet for tourists, trekkers, mountaineers, and all types of travelers from around the world. The erstwhile capital of Ladakh, known for its barren, moon-like landscape that gets blanketed by an impenetrable snow cover in the winters, Leh is so easy to fall in love with. It is dotted with picturesque monasteries, crumbling ruins, mudbrick houses, and stupas. Colorful prayer flags provide a striking contrast to the entire landscape. Majestic mountains stand guard to the town’s rugged terrain. Almost all the structures in Leh feature traditional architecture with sturdy white walls and windows with decorative wooden frames. Add luxury to your adventures in the town with the Glamping Stay At Leh.

The Glamping Stay At Leh couldn’t have offered you a better location than the banks of the Indus River. The calm river flows serenely along its path with its soothing sound promising to be a balm to your soul. Spread over a 42-acre land, the camp combines affordable luxury with natural beauty. Its location away from the hustle and bustle of the town’s center makes it the ideal place for relaxing in the quiet surroundings after a busy day of explorations, with only the sound of the flowing river for company. The camp is surrounded by natural vegetation, which is the natural habitat for small animals and visited by over 200 types of birds.

During the stay, you can also enjoy the services of a trained chef who makes dining an experience for the camp’s guests by creating a healthy and balanced menu of food made with fresh, local ingredients. The chef gives priority to guests’ preferences and dishes out a variety of food that blends traditional Indian flavors and Western cooking techniques. The camp has a common dining room, a library, and a games room. For entertainment, there’s a curated collection of books and films at the camp. Bike rentals are also available at the camp.

Accommodation at the Glamping Stay At Leh combines the luxury of a hotel with the adventure of camping with its glamorous camping option. There are all of nine Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents set up on raised foundations. Each of the tents is spacious, well-ventilated, and well-insulated. They are all furnished with the basic but cozy furnishings, including beds, luxury mattresses, lavish decoration, and thick Rajasthani quilts.
