Originally a bungalow of the royal family of Neelambur, it was sold and turned into a resort in 1994. Since then, this Plantation Estate Bungalow At Devala has grown to be a place much admired for its hospitality and warmth above all else. The working members of Plantations Estate Bungalow ensure that each guest has a memorable experience at this elegant dwelling.
This estate bungalow is tucked away in a 99-acre plantation, which is home to a bevy of trees and endless coffee and tea gardens. For those seeking a break from the rush and din of the cities, The stay here is a soothing balm of nature on frenzied minds. With well-provided for rooms and surroundings that can only calm and relax the mind, this place plays the perfect host for every soul that seeks a blissful holiday.
The property has three well-furnished rooms (Clopton, Sussex, Pebrook) and a cottage (Salisbury), which opens out to a lawn and a swimming pool. A limited menu with room service adds to the experience.
The Plantation Estate Bungalow At Devala serves as an ideal location for unwinding with its various facilities such as a common room with a pool table, board games, TV, music player, and a mini library for discerning readers. October to May is the ideal time to visit and the property has a no-pets policy in place.

Cancellation policy
- 50 % percent of tariff shall be retained as cancellation charges and the balance shall be refunded after adjusting the transaction charges if any.
- However in certain cases at the sole discretion of the property management a credit note may be issued for availing the stay to be used within next 45 days from the date of actual booking equivalent to the cancellation charges .

From Devala (i.e. the Gudalur – Sulthan Battery Road), take a right and then a left to reach the plantation estate bungalow, which is almost 2 km away
