Nestled in the midst of an organic tea garden that ascends to 6,400 feet and is more than a century old, this luxury resort provides scenic views of the verdant countryside and the Himalayan mountain range. Sprawling over more than 300 hectares, this property has a number of sparkling springs too.

Built in the style of architecture reminiscent of typical of tea bungalows of yore, this Plantation Retreat in Darjeeling has a tiled roof. Dating back to 1873, this heritage structure has a cheerful interior featuring all modern amenities.

Food at the in-house restaurant is prepared using organic fruits and vegetables that are grown on the property as well as poultry and meat that is home bred. A spa that overlooks the valley beckons you for some relaxation and rejuvenation.  You can enjoy leisurely walks through the tea gardens, try your hand at tea plucking, understand the process of manufacturing tea, and wind up with a tea tasting session. You can also relax by a bonfire as you relish the barbecue. The grounds offer plenty of opportunities for bird watching. Cycling, day trips, mountain treks, and cultural performances can all be arranged.

There are a total of ten rooms at this Plantation Retreat in Darjeeling. The bungalow with a garden view is suitable for large families and groups while others will find the queen room with a spa bath or the suite with its mountain view a great option.
