If swimming a few laps and lounging on the spacious deck catching some sun are not enough to keep you happy during your holiday, there is plenty to do and see outside the resort’s boundaries. You can go on a camel safari or ride over the sand dunes up to Pushkar town as you take in the breathtaking landscape along the way.
The famous annual camel and cattle Pushkar fair are held during the months of October and November. Besides cattle and camels, you can also shop for a variety of silver ornaments, apparel, footwear, artifacts as well as tie and dye textiles that the region is known for. The unique Brahma Temple thought to be the only one of its kind in the world can be seen for miles across with its distinguishing bright red spire towering against the skyline. The Savitri Temple, the Rangji Temple, Aptaeshwar Temple, and the Varaha Temple are other historic sites in the area. Pushkar Lake with over 52 sacred Ghats for the pilgrims to bathe and wash away their sins is just a short distance from the property.
