Terms & Conditions

  • Forest remains closed from 1st May to 31st July, every year, due to nesting & breeding of Estuarine Crocodile.
  • Govt. Approved photo ID & address proof( e.g. voter card/driving license/ aadhar card/ passport- for Indians and passport, visa & 3 recent passport size photographs- for foreigners) along with the original to obtain forest entry permit needed at the time of check-in.
  • Please carry medicines, mosquito repellent, torch, dry foods with you. The nearest market is at a distance of  7 Km.
  • Please carry sufficient cash. Nearest ATM s at a distance of  30 Km. We do not accept Credit/ Debit/ Prepaid card.
  • Due to nearby forest & due to the natural habitat of various small wild animals, reptiles & insects( most of them harmless), you can encounter one or many of them during your stay at our resort, though we do regular pest control in our guest rooms, Kitchen & Dining hall. We cannot destroy their natural habitat because this is an eco-tourism facility.

Cancellation policy

  • Please pay 50% of the total amount to reserve your room.
  • Please pay the balance amount in our A/c before 7 days from guest's check-in.
  • 25% of the total amount will be deducted if you cancel 16 to 30 days before the date of arrival
  • 50% of the total amount will be deducted if you cancel 8 to 15 days before the date of arrival
  • 100% of the total amount will be deducted if you cancel 0 to 7 days before the date of arrival.
  • No refund for any unused services or early check- out.

How about enjoying a boating trip down one of the river channels flowing through the area? You can even embark on a boat safari to the mangrove forest to watch large crocodiles and birds. A visit to the Bhitarkanika National Park will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to explore its rich biodiversity.

If you want to explore the place on your own, you can take off on a walking tour of the village. On the way, you can get a taste of the local food at the small shops lining the village roads. Beach lovers can take a trip down to Udabali Beach or Pentha Beach. Cycling trips to Pentha Beach, sunrise walks, Odia or Hindi language courses, sessions on making fish nets, etc. can also be arranged for you at an additional cost.

While at the resort, you can learn to cook an authentic local meal. If you are a fitness freak, you can train under our specialist yoga teachers. Those who enjoy doing things on a holiday that you wouldn’t do in everyday life can take a trip to Lalitgiri, the famous and archeologically rich Buddhist attraction. In the evenings, you can enjoy a bonfire in the serene atmosphere of the resort.
